Timber Roots is the manufacturing and distribution arms of United Building Centers, a Pro-Build company. As a national company, Pro-Build is kind of a "melting pot" of the building industry as their growth through the years has come as a result of acquisitions. The manufacturing facilities of these reputable companies were renamed Timber Roots. So what's in a name? The "Timber Roots" name is derived from the title of a book written about the early beginnings of the company's founders. The "MTD" portion of their name stands for the three entities of Timber Roots, that being Millwork, Truss and Distribution.

At first glance, the Timber Roots advantage could easily be recognized as simply offering quality products at a fair price and getting those products to their customers on time.
