Ordering
In a business that can be highly detailed in terms of product specifications, it is imperative that we communicate effectively at a 100% accuracy level. All business related specifications to product, pricing, lead time, ship dates, invoice and debt etc., should be done via fax. We strongly urge two-way communication via phone when the exchange of questions and answers are vital. The actual commitment to the business transactions will only be communicated by fax.
Order Acknowledgements
A faxed order acknowledgement of an order will be transmitted confirming specifications, costs, and delivery dates within 24 hours after receipt of order.
Cancellations
Any stock material can be cancelled up to two (2) days prior to committed ship date. Assembled units can not be cancelled. Once a commitment has been made by placing special order materials, there is no allowance to cancel the order. The special order will be completed and shipped. Extra care should be given to ensure that proper specifications are conveyed and acknowledged accordingly. Pre-hung units can not be cancelled.
Delivery
We offer product delivery to all customers on a regular basis. Delivery dates vary by area. If there is a special need, please contact the plant for additional delivery options.
Claims
Shortage claims are to be made within 24 hours of receipt of shipment. Damage claims are to be made within 48 hours of receipt. Original invoice number and shipping date are required prior to any claim being processed.
We will not accept claims for...
• damage beyond 48 hours.
• claims for interior or exterior product that has not been sealed on all six sides.
• labor claims for repair, refinishing, or replacement of product for any reason.
Returns
Limited to only stock material purchased within the past 60 days. Non-stock special order items are not subject to returns. All returns require authorization from the plant or its designated representative. All returns require original invoice number and date prior to being processed. Delivery drivers will not accept returns without a proper RMA issued from the plant. Pre-hung units can not be returned.
Service Requests
We will provide service on all material that has been determined by a plant representative to have "manufacturing defects" at cost to the plant. Any service request that has been determined not to be of a manufacturing defect in nature, customer will incur all costs Timber Roots has incurred to include travel time (to and from plant), job site time and any additional expenses in relation to performing assessment.
Limited Warranties
All products are covered by limited warranties. Warranties do not cover defects that are the result of finishing, handling or installation not in accordance with manufacturers' instructions. For a copy of warranties, contact your nearest Timber Roots Millwork facility.
